PlantWhyx — Model Stock Merge Model Overview: This version more basic for illustrious LORA test-merge-generation, more stable results. A community merge of three anime / illustration checkpoints from the Plant Milk 🌿 Model Suite by Ocean3: VariantSeriesVersion Walnutymk3.0.0 Hemp IIldbr4.1.1 Flaxldbr3.0.0 All three are Illustrious-based (SDXL architecture) checkpoints, so they are fully architecture-compatible and were merged directly without any conversion step. The result is a balanced blend that keeps the "flavor" of every source model. Model Introduction This checkpoint combines the three community-favorite variants of the Plant Milk suite into a single model. It targets anime / illustration generation and is intended as a general-purpose Illustrious anime base. Merge Method (Creation) Created by merging, not training. Two chained Model Stock merges were performed (Model Stock auto-selects the blend weight that keeps the result closest — by cosine similarity — to both inputs, which yields a stable, non-"burnt" blend of finetunes sharing a common lineage): 1.Walnut + Hemp II → intermediate checkpoint 2.intermediate + Flax → PlantWhyx (checkpoint: PlantWhyx.safetensors) Note: text-encoder (CLIP) tensors of a few layers fall back to source model A during per-tensor NaN/Inf validation (documented merge-engine safety behavior). The UNet — which drives image generation — is fully merged and unaffected. Inference Recommended settings (inherited from the source suite): •Sampler: Euler or Euler a (HeunPP2 / Restart also work) •CFG scale: ~3 (range 3–6) •Steps: ~28 •Resolution: 1024×1024 (SDXL native) Example (Automatic1111 / Forge / ComfyUI): prompt: a girl with long hair, flower field, soft lighting negative prompt: lowres, bad anatomy, worst quality Steps: 28, Sampler: Euler a, CFG: 3, Size: 1024x1024 Model Effects Blends the stylistic strengths of Walnut, Hemp II and Flax. Well suited for anime / illustration characters and scenes; behaves like a standard Illustrious anime base.
