在遠古的神魔之戰，惡神獲罪被囚於深淵，祂為消解愁悶，便自心靈撕裂出零星貪念，做出肥胖的饕餮來陪伴自己。可是饕餮被眾神發現，惡神被令下要將饕餮殺死，不滿的惡神便叫魔羊將年幼的饕餮送走。饕餮被趕到人間，吞食人們的農作物維生、被人們當成害獸驅趕。古代的妖仙發現了饕餮，他們囚禁饕餮，以生靈餵食，再施妖術攝取牠的力量。 　　渾沌魔君的祖先是妖仙中一員，他為了獨佔饕餮而將牠的力量汲乾，使饕餮復歸幼小並偷偷帶走，可是渾沌魔君的祖先在逃至一村落後便因其它妖仙的咒語而病逝，他的親人只好在村裡生活，多年後他們落地生根，漸漸把妖道之術遺忘，只將饕餮當成一隻長壽的靈獸。 　　饕餮與人們一起過活，直至神魔的戰火漫延至村裡，神族的部隊發現了饕餮的力量，要求人們將饕餮交出，但村人已將饕餮當成鎮村的土地神，拒絕了神族的要求。神族以武力奪取饕餮，村民們雖以死相搏但終究不敵，混亂中村落的孩子們各散東西，小饕餮只能咬著一小童逃走。 　　孩子立誓向神族報仇，他以饕餮為引來鑽研妖道，在魔族幫助下煉身為妖仙。修道者以妖術增強力量、並與饕餮分享。饕餮與同伴走在邪術的路上，他倆流浪於人神魔之間，被修道者稱成為饕餮渾沌魔君
