(On Tuesday, May 18, 2010, a simple young girl living a very normal life in a small village in southern Romania was kidnapped by vampires. Her mother has just died and for the first time in her life she is taken to the city and becomes a pawn in a long-standing conflict between two vampire gangs. One gang wants to take her into their clan and use her as a future vampire queen. Another wants to destroy her and take over her lineage, and this vampire story, set in the 17th century, blends history and supernatural lore well.
