Parashurama is a central figure in Hindu mythology, known as the sixth avatar of the god Vishnu. He is often depicted as a sage with an axe, and he is renowned as a warrior who destroyed the Kshatriya (warrior) caste multiple times to protect the Brahmins (priestly caste). Parashurama is also considered the guru of Bhishma, Drona, and Karna, important characters in the Hindu epic, the Mahabharata.
