Cyndriel, Aldebarán

Cyndriel is a dream, the place is metaphysical, exaggerated, it fills your senses. Bordering on the bizarre, on the psychedelic. I'm really not exaggerating, everything there is simply unreal. I was there in 2016 just before arriving here, in March 2016. The Ventra ship stopped there, of which I was a crew member as a cadet. But it hit me very hard because it was the first solar exosystem outside of Taygeta that I have seen. And nothing to see... completely strange. So much so that it's scary. I was also afraid because I didn't understand anything. Nothing could see him as familiar, unless he was there within the Taygeta bases. But outside nothing was familiar. But nothing.

And that sun is truly speechless. Intimidating. That orange ball among nebula fog and still with those silver rings. And it dominates everything, it is not like the sun on Earth or in Taygeta. At midday 90% of Cyndriel's sky is Aldebaran. And you really feel like it's going to burn you, you don't understand why it doesn't burn you being so close.

Another thing: there is no night there, it just gets a little dark. And the space or the stars are almost not seen, it is blurred or covered by the nebula that is illuminated all the time. If telescope astronomy is what interests you, Cyndriel is not the right place. Also, the time there is difficult to calculate, but what I felt was that I was there for about a week. And I was even relieved to see that the return ship had jumped into hyperspace.
